Rice
- 100 g Rice (Sushi rice or rice of choice)
- 300 g water
Tuna
- 400 g ahi tuna
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tbsp honey
- 0.5 tsp wasabi
- 0.3 tsp chili flakes
Fruit and Veggies
- 0.5 Pineapple
- 0.5 Red bell pepper
- 1 Avocado
Seasoning
- 0.5 tsp Sesame seeds
- 0.5 tbsp Chopped Scallions
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.25 tsp wasabi (to taste)
Wash the rice. Put a pan on medium heat, add place rice in, add water and cook in accordance with the chosen rice cooking instructions. When the rice is ready, cool it down and set it aside.
For Tuna marinade mix olive oil, soy sauce, wasabi, chili flakes and honey in a large bowl. Whisk it till smooth.
Cut tuna into 1cm cubes. Transfer the tuna cubes to the bowl with marinade and mix it, so the marinade covers all the tuna pieces. Set aside for marination for about 30 mins.
Peel avocado and cut it into 1cm cubes or into slices. Cut the bell pepper into cubes. Peel and cut the pineapple into 0.5 cm cubes. Chop the scallions.
For the dressing sauce mix soy sauce and wasabi.
Assemble the bowl. Place cooled rice on the bottom of the bowl. Then add marinated tuna pieces, pineapple, bell pepper and avocado.
Sprinkle tuna with chopped scallions and sesame seeds. Dress the bowl with wasabi-soy sauce. Enjoy!
