Marinara sauce
- 300 g crushed or diced tomatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 0.25 onion
- 3 celery stalks
- 100 g white wine
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 bunch parsley
Pasta
- 140 g spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine
- 0.5 tsp salt
Marinara sauce
Finely chop garlic, onion and celery. Chope parsley.
Fry onion and garlic with olive oil on medium heat till fragrant (for about 3-4 mins), stirring occasionally. Add chopped celery and mix. Stew them for a couple of minutes.
Add white wine and let it simmer for about a minute.
Add diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano and sugar, mix well and let it simmer for 2 mins.
