Baked Brie with Pistachios and Strawberry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel Brie cheese (8-12 oz)
  • cup pistachios, shelled and roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste optional
  • Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the Brie wheel in the center of the parchment paper. Score the top rind of the cheese in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • Pour the honey over the top of the scored Brie and sprinkle it with chopped pistachios. Bake it in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until it becomes soft and slightly gooey.
  • Transfer the baked Brie to a serving platter using a spatula. Place chopped strawberry on top of baked Brie. If desired, sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the baked Brie for added flavor.
  • Serve immediately with crackers or a sliced baguette and enjoy!
