Chocolate Waffles (Gluten-free)
These gluten-free Chocolate waffles are soft and fluffy inside, with a crunchy thin bark outside and they are perfect for breakfast!

- 1 egg
- 80 g coconut milk or milk of choice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 80 g rice flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Turn on your waffle maker on medium heat.
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients except milk. Start adding the milk and whisk the batter. Control the amount of milk you have chosen. Mine took 80g for the batter to be a perfect consistency. It must be thick enough and should not drain from the whisker. Whisk the batter till smooth.
When the waffle maker is ready, place some batter in the waffle maker and cook, not opening the cover. Mine took 2 mins.
Gently pull the waffles out and serve on the plate. Enjoy with some frozen yogurt and fruit!
