Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (your choice of bread, such as sourdough or whole wheat)
  • 4 oz. Brie cheese, sliced
  • ΒΌ cup 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat, add some butter. Place two slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet. Layer the sliced Brie cheese evenly on top of one bread slice. Sprinkle the fresh blueberries evenly over the Brie cheese layer.
  • Place the second bread slice on top, buttered side up, to form a sandwich. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese begins to melt. Press the sandwich gently with a spatula as they cook to help melt the cheese and create a crispy exterior.
  • Once the sandwich is golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, remove them from the heat. If the cheese is not melted, but the bread is golden brown yet, you can place the sandwich into the microwave for 20 seconds.
  • Allow the blueberry Brie grilled cheese sandwiches to cool slightly before cutting them into halves or quarters. Enjoy!
