Ingredients

  • 5 large Medjool dates
  • 2 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
  • 10 toasted walnuts
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, crumble the blue cheese and add chopped toasted walnuts. Season with dried oregano and mix well.
  • Carefully slice open each date lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through. Remove the pit.
  • Stuff each date with the blue cheese-walnuts mixture. Gently press the date closed to secure the filling inside. Once stuffed, place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish.
  • Bake the stuffed dates in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes or until the blue cheese starts to melt and the dates become slightly caramelized.
  • Once baked, remove the stuffed dates from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
