- 5 large Medjool dates
- 2 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
- 10 toasted walnuts
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, crumble the blue cheese and add chopped toasted walnuts. Season with dried oregano and mix well.
Carefully slice open each date lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through. Remove the pit.
Stuff each date with the blue cheese-walnuts mixture. Gently press the date closed to secure the filling inside. Once stuffed, place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish.
Bake the stuffed dates in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes or until the blue cheese starts to melt and the dates become slightly caramelized.
Once baked, remove the stuffed dates from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
