- 1 Baguette or crusty bread slice
- 1 tsp Butter
- 1 Fresh fig, sliced
- some slices Brie cheese
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Walnuts, chopped
- ΒΌ tsp Dried oregano
Slice the baguette or crusty bread into thin pieces. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt a teaspoon of butter, ensuring the pan is coated. Fry the bread slices in the pan until both sides become golden brown and crispy. Once done, remove the fried bread slices from the pan and set them aside.
Place a slice of Brie cheese on each fried bread slice. Microwave the bread slices with the Brie cheese for approximately 20-25 seconds, or until the cheese starts to melt. Monitor the microwave closely to avoid over-melting the cheese.
Take the bread slices out of the microwave and place a few slices of fresh fig on each slice. Drizzle honey over the figs on each bread slice, then sprinkle chopped walnuts and dried oregano on top. Serve and enjoy!
