Pink Crepes (Barbie-style)

Barbie-Style Crepes

Ingredients
  

  • cup whole wheat flour (or any other flour of your choice)
  • 1 tsp natural pink color
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • cooking spray for greasing the pan

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, and salt until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, honey, vanilla extract and oil.
  • Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients while whisking continuously to form a smooth crepe batter. Make sure there are no lumps. Add pink color and mix.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with coconut oil or cooking spray. Pour about 1/4 cup of the crepe batter into the hot pan, tilting the pan to spread the batter evenly and create a thin layer.
  • Cook the crepe for about 1 minute on one side until the edges begin to lift and the surface appears dry. Then, flip the crepe and cook the other side for an additional minute.
  • Remove the cooked crepe from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter until you have made all the crepes. Stack the pink crepes on a plate and serve them warm with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
