  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • Yogurt-based glaze for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Combine mashed bananas, whole wheat flour, Greek yogurt,honey or maple syrup, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Mix to form a soft dough.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape on a lightly floured surface. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the rolled-out dough to infuse it with warm, comforting flavor. Carefully roll the dough into a log, similar to how you would roll a cinnamon roll. Slice the log into individual rolls and arrange them in a baking dish.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes until they're golden brown and fragrant, creating a delightful aroma.
  • After baking, you can also drizzle a yogurt-based glaze or a touch of honey over the rolls for extra sweetness. Once cooled slightly, these healthy banana cinnamon rolls are ready to be enjoyed as a wholesome treat.
