Easy Cheese Buns

Ingredients
  

  • 7 oz. cottage cheese
  • 2.5 oz. cheddar cheese
  • 3.5 oz. all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt
  • mixed sesame seeds (to sprinkle)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, all-purpose flour, cheddar cheese and a pinch of salt. Stir until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not overly sticky.
  • Take portions of the dough and shape them into small buns or rolls, about 1 to 2 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each bun.
  • Sprinkle mixed sesame seeds over the tops of the buns. Bake the cheese buns in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until they are golden brown and have a slightly crispy crust.
  • Remove the cheese buns from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. They are delicious when served warm.
