For the Apple Part:
- 2 apples, cored, and diced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
For the Crumble:
- 2 oz. oat flour
- 1 oz. oats
- 1 oz. almond flour
- 1 oz. coconut oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- vanilla icecream for serving
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut apples and place them into a bowl. Add honey, coconut oil and cinnamon. Stir to coat the apples evenly in the cinnamon and honey. Set them aside.
Prepare the crumble. In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, oats, almond flour, coconut oil, and honey. Use a fork or your fingers to mix until the ingredients come together and form a crumbly texture.
Place the apples into a baking dish, spreading them evenly on the bottom. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples, covering them completely.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the crumble topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly. Serve the Healthy Apple Crumble warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Enjoy!
