Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on the puff pastry package, typically around 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the thawed puff pastry pieces on a lightly floured surface to eliminate any creases. Cut the pastry into desired shapes (e.g., squares or circles) to form individual tarts.
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the diced pear to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes. Drizzle honey over the diced pear and sprinkle with ground cinnamon, dried oregano and chopped pecans. Continue to cook and stir for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pear pieces are tender and coated in a caramelized mixture.
Place the pastry shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange a portion of the caramelized pear-pecans mixture on each pastry shape, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese over the caramelized pear mixture on each tart. Brush the edges with the beaten egg.
Bake the tarts in the preheated oven for approximately 15-18 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown, and the cheese has melted.
Remove the tarts from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Optionally, drizzle a bit of honey over the tarts for an extra touch of sweetness.
