- 1 ripe banana
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish or pan with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until they become smooth and creamy.
Add the peanut butter to the mashed bananas and mix well until the two ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Sift the cocoa powder into the banana and peanut butter mixture. Mix until all the ingredients are fully incorporated and you have a smooth batter. You can also add some chocolate chips or nuts if you wish.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish or pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the brownies are set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut the brownies into squares or desired shapes and enjoy!
