How do you make Oatmeal Banana Bread

The recipe is very easy!
Preheat the oven to 170ยฐC.
In a large bowl, mix olive oil and honey. Then add an egg and whisk it, making the batter fluffier and whiter. I use an electric hand mixer for this.

In another bowl, mash the bananas.

Add mashed bananas, vanilla extract and milk to the oil-honey-egg mixture. Mix till smooth.

Add cinnamon, baking powder, a pinch of salt and oat flour to the batter. Mix well.

In the end, add your favorite toppings to the batter with the help of the spatula. I added chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 25 g almond milk or coconut milk
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1,5 ripe bananas (about 100g)
  • 110 g oat flour
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp baking powder

Toppings (optional)

  • 20 g chopped chocolate or chocolate chips (can be replaced with raisins or dried cranberries)
  • 20 g chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Transfer the batter to the loaf pan lined with baking paper. Bake it in the oven for about 50-55min.
  • Take the baked banana bread out of the oven, cool it for a bit and then cut it into pieces. Enjoy!
